Unplanned water supply interruptions in Tsakani

Arrangements for water tankers will be communicated through the CoE’s social media platforms.

The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to inform customers in Tsakani that it is aware of the prevailing water supply interruptions which started this morning.

“This is due to repairs to the 500mm steel pipe at Xhosa Reservoir.

“As repairs are continuing, water will be supplied though a bypass which might not be enough for high lying areas.

“Therefore, the high lying areas might experience low water pressure to no water during this time.

” Work is expected to be completed by 21:00 tonight,” this is according to Zweli Dlamini, the metro’s spokesperson.

Arrangements for water tankers will be communicated through the CoE’s social media platforms.

The tankers will be located as follows:

 1 x Water tanker at the Tsakane Extension 10 Clinic

 1 x Water tanker in Extension 17

 1 x Water tanker at Toyi-Toyi Street
