Designing his own success
As to why he chose to become an interior architect, he explained it’s rare to get an interior designer and an architect from the township.
Tsakani – Tshepo Buhlebezulu Moremi (24) from Tsakani finds his talent in the essence of architecture and designing.
Moremi had the privilege of attending an interior design private institution in Fourways. The young man, who practices modelling as a side hustle, said he never thought he would find himself in such a creative space.
“I never imagined myself working as an interior architect.
”Sometimes we make decisions that don’t involve God and at the end of the day He is the decider, and I am definitely a living testimony of that,” he said.
As to why he chose to become an interior architect, he explained it’s rare to get an interior designer and an architect from the township.

He explains that he wanted to take advantage of that.
According to Moremi, the essence of interior architecture will always be about people and how they live. He mentioned the space is not an easy one.
”One would ask me what made me study interior architecture and designs, my response would be simple, creativity, imagination and innovation. If you believe you have a creative, futuristic, imaginative and artistic approach to things, then you can think of interior designing and architecture as a career path,” he said.
The creative said the course is pricey, which is why he would advise young people who want to consider it to first be sure of the career so they do not waste money and change courses after completing their qualification.
Moremi said his mother is his anchor and biggest supporter.
“It was quite a challenge to get to where I am today and I faced a lot of difficulties to reach the goal that I wanted, but my mother has always been my cheerleader,” he said.
