Church gives food parcels to the elderly
Pensioners receive food packages from the church.
Kwatsaduza – A local church continues to provide food security for vulnerable elderly residents in Kwatsaduza.
Past Joey Oosthuizen of the Lord is a Man of War Ministries from Wright Park and congregants recently joined hands in reaching out to the elderly members of the community in need.

They could distribute food packages to over 30 senior citizens with the help of donors.
Oosthuizen said the initiative has helped those in need put bread on the table.
“The aim is to assist wherever possible and is an attempt to show our elders they are cared for and loved dearly, even though we cannot reach everyone.
“Most of these families depend on social grants, which makes it difficult for them to cover all their needs,” he said.
