“It is during this stage that parents establish a foundation for their child’s health, general well-being and academic success.
“I aim to provide universal access to mum and baby classes that support, celebrate and empower new mothers through the critical first 1 000 days.
“As we know pregnancy can be a lonely journey for some mothers.
“Our classes provide information on maternal health, the latest information on pregnancy, and we formulate a sisterhood bond,” she explained.

According to Nyakle, she also tackles postnatal depression.
Due to the pandemic, she is also offering virtual classes through a data-free app for five weeks.
“Those who join can expect to do some fun activities and exercises.
“The exciting part is that I also host a baby shower on the final week of the programme.
“The whole experience comes with a complimentary gift which is a branded baby bag with essentials for expectant mums and a branded baby blanket for new mothers.
“I would like to encourage mothers to attend these classes as they are beneficial for them and the babies,” she said.
