Family desperate to find missing woman
She was last seen leaving her sister’s house in Geluksdal Ext 3, heading to Tsakani Mall to withdraw and deposit stokvel money.
Tsakani – Tebogo Marvelous Mazibuko (41) was last seen by her family on December 2 when she left her sister’s house in Geluksdal Extension Three, heading to Tsakani Mall to withdraw and deposit stokvel money.
She was meant to withdraw about R20 000 for the deposit, but it is understood that none of the stokvel members received the money.
Mazibuko resided in Tsakani Ext 13.
On the day she went missing she was wearing a peach-coloured bucket hat, black top with blue jeans and beige sandals.
“We last spoke to her around 13:00 that day when she complained about bank queues,” said brother-in-law Leonard Masilela.

On January 12, the family received a message from an unknown number, demanding they pay a ransom of R3 000 to a not yet identified account.
Tsakani police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu said the case had been changed to kidnapping and that investigation is ongoing.
Mazibuko’s 17-year-old daughter Amanda Mthethwa said none of her mother’s friends has heard or seen her since.
“I am concerned about her that I can’t even sleep. I just want to know if she’s ok.
“I can’t even concentrate on my school work. I am pleading with anyone who might have any information to contact the police,” she pleaded.
