Tombstone theft leaves family heartbroken

The family got the shock of their lives when they recently visited the Rest In Peace Cemetery in Kwa-Thema.

Kwa-Thema – The Dlamini family is disgusted and heartbroken after criminals stole a section of their parents’ tombstone.

The family got the shock of their lives when they recently visited the Rest In Peace Cemetery in Kwa-Thema.
“I was visiting to clean my parents’ grave only to find that the top part of the tombstone had been stolen.
“Never have I been so disappointed and heartbroken,” said daughter Itumeleng Dlamini.
According to the family, the tombstone was erected in 2019 and cost a fortune.

“The tombstone was there as a means to honour and show love to my parents.
“What hurts the most is that these criminals do not respect the resting place of our elders,” she said.
Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Const Nkululeko Magudulela said police are investigating the matter.
