4+1 commuters urged to only board certified vehicles
“We are urging commuters to only board taxis that have the stickers.”
Kwa-Thema – The Springs Taxi Association is urging 4+1 taxis commuters to only board vehicles that have an operating sticker attached to the left-hand side of the taxi.
The warning comes after the taxi association received a series of complaints about commuters being robbed of their valuables after boarding what they believed to be legitimate taxis.

The association’s PRO, Lyric Tau, said they are aware that there are local taxis operating illegally and targeting unsuspecting commuters.
“We are urging commuters to only board taxis that have the stickers.
“This is for their own safety and to help us uproot criminals who are tainting our name,” he explained.
