Library services in Kwatsaduza

Public libraries will now be operational on every second Saturday of the month.

Kwatsaduza – The metro has announced library services are to be offered on weekends.
Public libraries will now be operational every second Saturday of the month.
“We have received several requests about the opening of libraries on Saturday and are pleased to inform the public the library will now be open from 08:00 until 13:00,” said Karin Muller, head of libraries and information services in the City.
Muller stated that although the opening is once a month, it is a great start to provide a better and satisfactory service to residents.

Communities are urged to continue using library facilities and parents to register their children as library patrons and take advantage of the children’s section to instil the culture of reading from an early age.

Covid-19 protocols, such as wearing of masks, sanitising and social distancing, to be strictly adhered to when using library facilities.
