Kwa-Thema Customer Care Centre re-opens its doors

Operations resumed on Monday.

Kwa-Thema – The Kwa-Thema Customer Care Centre is now operational.
The City of Ekurhuleni has re-opened the centre following a week of closure.
Zweli Dlamini, the City’s spokesperson, said the facility was closed due to ongoing service delivery protests in the area.

“A threat analysis was done during the ongoing service delivery protests.
“It was never the City’s intention to close the facility, but as and when the protests started and continued a threat was discovered and we temporarily shut down the facility and started redirecting residents to the Springs walk-in centre.
“The facility is now open and security has been beefed up,” said Dlamini.
Operations resumed on Monday.
