Police offer R50 000 reward for information about Amahle’s disappearance

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue and white T-shirt and black jeans with hearts printed on the pockets.

Kwatsaduza – Gauteng police have issued a R50 000 reward for any information that can assist in locating Amahle Michel Thabethe.
The 11-year-old girl from Tsakani went missing three years ago while playing with friends not far from her home in Tsakani.
It is reported Amahle was playing in the street with friends when an unknown man approached them, asking for directions to a certain house.
Amahle volunteered to show the man the house he was looking for, and hasn’t been seen since.
On April 6, 2019, she was reported missing at the Tsakani Police Station.

Gauteng police spokesperson Col Dimakatso Sello explained a task team has been formed to investigate and has followed up on information received.
Anyone with positive information that can lead to the location of Amahle or the alleged perpetrator is requested to contact Sgt Theo Jacobs on 082 319 9865 or 081 442 4258. Anonymous tip-offs can also be reported on the MySaps App or Crime Stop Line on 08600 10111.
