Tsakani – The Skhosana family is pleading with residents to help them rebuild their home.
Their house in Ext 15 burned down on the morning of June 29. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
Mthuthuzeli Skhosana explained that he received a call from neighbours informing him about the fire.
“When I arrived I found the fire was already extinguished and everything we owned reduced to ashes.
“In these cold winter conditions, it pains me that my family of eight is now going to be homeless,” he added.

Mthuthuzeli added they need the help of the community through donations to afford to rebuild their house.
“The quoted building materials, which include 28 bags of cement, two-door frames and corrugated iron, will cost us an arm and a leg because we are all unemployed.
“Any form of donations, no matter how small, will be appreciated,” he added.
