African International Karate-Do Women’s Cup Championship set to be hosted in Tsakani

Karate practitioners from across the country will gather in Tsakani this weekend for a day of competition and skill.

Tsakani – The community is invited to witness exciting karate excellence at Faranani Multipurpose Centre on August 29.

Pan African Shotokan Karate-Do Federation is set to host the WKMF African International Karate-Do Women’s Cup Championship from 09:00 to 18:00.

The event will feature individual kata and kumite from men and women in different age categories, including male seniors and veterans and females aged six to 55.

Dojos from various provinces, including Gauteng, Free State, Mpumalanga and Eastern Cape will be participating.

Sensei Micheal Cindi said the club is excited to be hosting the event and looks forward to the community’s support.
