Woman raped after leaving tavern to use the bathroom
Duduza woman raped by 'good Samaritan'.
Duduza – Duduza police are searching for a man in connection with a case of rape that took place on May 20.
The incident took place in Nkomo Street, just next to Lucky’s Tavern, where a 37-year- old woman was allegedly raped by the man.
Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka said the victim alleged that she was in the tavern and had to go to the bathroom, however, there was a long queue.

“The unknown man who lived across from the establishment offered her his bathroom. He used the opportunity to his advantage and raped her while in his house,” he explained.
Manaka added that the incident was reported recently by the victim and police investigations are underway.
“We are urging victims of sexual violence to report their cases to the police no matter when they happened and allow the law to take its course,” he added.
