E-Bets celebrate the spirit of giving this Mandela Month
Tsakani nursing home received some love from a local organisation on Saturday as they continue to celebrate Mandela Month.
Tsakani – Community outreach organisation E-Bets Caregivers spent 67 minutes of their time in service to the elderly in Tsakani on Saturday.
The self-funded group visited the Tsakani Old Age Home to celebrate Mandela Month and were joined by the Luyanda Uthando dancing group.
Fun activities entertained benefactors of the centre on the day. The organisation also donated food parcels.
Nomathemba Dzingwa, the secretary of the organisation, said the committee members needed to visit the home.

“People at home are often neglected by the community and some by their loved ones.
“We wanted to show them that they are cared for and loved still.
“You could see the excitement on their faces as they danced with the group,” stated Dzingwa.
The Tsakani-based organisation works hand-in-hand with the community to lend a helping hand to those in need.
