Deceased: Sibongile Nicolina Shabalala was born on May 1, 1978, and died on October 24 at Parkland Hospital.
Education: She started her schooling at Masimini Primary School and went to Nkumbulo Comprehensive High School where she obtained her matric certificate in 1996. She then enrolled in Springs College for a diploma in accounting and finance.
Career: Worked part-time at Spar Supermarket in Springs before being permanently appointed as a clerk at the Kwa-Thema Police Station.
Community: She assisted deserving and deprived children within her community with school supplies.
She was also a member of the Apostolic Reformed Church choir.
Family: She is survived by her father, brother, two children, two nephews and her partner.
Funeral: The service will take place on Saturday from 08:00 to 10:00 at the Apostolic Reformed Church.
The cortege will then proceed to the Vlakfontein Cemetery.
