TT Mbha hosts men’s day in Tsakani

Amatyma presents Suit-Up Sundowners, Men's Only Premium Experience

International Men’s Day is a few days away and conversations around men are still at an all-time low.

Recently, a two-day GBVF Indaba took place where the community was left distraught at the lack of direction from what was meant to be a solutions-driven indaba.

TT Mbha, who is an entrepreneur and father, rallied ‘Amatyma’ to speak about wellness issues that affect men.

“Men are known to be hard nuts to crack, a species that bottles everything up because society has labelled sensitive men as weak,” said Mbha.

Mbha who speaks passionately about fatherhood aims to gather men from all walks of life not only to speak about the harsh realities of being a man but to create an environment where men can learn from each other.

“International Men’s Day is around the corner and to date, we can count a few events that have been hosted by men for men.

“When I was conceptualising this event, I wanted to create a safe platform for men to talk.

“Men don’t talk and as a result, a lot of things are left unsaid.

“There are so many events for women on Women’s Day and Mother’s Day but when it comes to men’s day, there are a few events that cater for men,” Mbha concluded.

Amatyma presents a suit-up sundowners premium experience that focuses on the wellness pillars of physical, mental, and financial wellness.

The #Amatyma Wellness Network seeks to address the wellness of men in a frank and candid manner.

The event will take place at Umndeni Fellowship Christian Centre at 8115 Koni Street in Tsakani from 09:30 to 14:00 on November 19.

Among the guests will be David Molapo, Masoja Msiza, Dr Tumi, Nimrod Nkosi, Gugulethu Xaba, Khaya Mthethwa, Victor Phume, Bishop E Mkhawane, Gabriel Temudzani and many more.
