Kwa-Thema and Langaville ECD association host awareness programme

Care awareness educated parents on taking care of children.

Kwa-Thema – Kwa-Thema and Langaville ECD Association held an ECD care awareness programme on November 20 at the Kwa-Thema Hall.

The awareness programme was aimed at educating parents on safety, nutrition and information on how to report a case of a missing or abused child.

Among the guests were members from the SAPS, EMPD, GDE, Department of Health and a GBV activist.

Association deputy chairperson Mbali Ntshangase said: “The event was a success and very informative even though the turnout was poor. Parents didn’t come out in numbers.”

Ntshangase said parents should be made aware that all daycares in Kwa-Thema will increase fees from January 2023.
