Pre-season games head for week five

Quarter-finals disrupted by heavy rain.

Tsakani – The Ingqayizele pre-season challenge continued on Sunday, with the quarter-finals and playoffs taking place at the Ext 5 Plus Ground.

Geluksdal beat Skomboyz 5-0, All Nation and Duduza ended in a nil-all draw, then went to the penalties where All Nation won by 4-3, and Wizard lost 1-4 to Amabhubhesi.

Brothers were leading Zethembe 1-0 when the game was stopped due to heavy rain. The game between Bazingeli and PCF also couldn’t continue.

The game between Brothers and Zethembe will start 0-0 this Sunday. Bazingeli and PCF will also play on the day.

The games will determine which teams will form part of the semi-finals later in the day.

The fixtures are as follows:
– 09:00 Brothers vs Zethembe, a quarter-final three-game
– 10:00 Bazingeli vs PCF, a quarter-final four-game
– 11:00 17 Masters vs Yebo Yes, a position nine and 10 playoff game
– 12:00 All Nation vs quarter-final three winners in the first semi-finals game
– 13:00 Geluksdal vs quarter-final four winners in the second semi-finals game

Coach and Ingqayizele founder Votile Jack said, “To understand the laws of the game, the game of Brothers vs Zethembe will start from scratch (0-0), even though Brothers led 1-0 in the first stanza that was stopped due to heavy rain.”

Jack said there are more than two-hour recuperation times because the game between 17 Masters vs Yebo Yes takes place between the quarter and semi-finals.

This will give teams a breather and allow everyone to qualify for registration because they need 30 players from each Masters team before the league starts on March 26.
