Duduza’s new police station commander ready to work with the community to fight crime
The new station commander has 31 years of experience.

Duduza – The Duduza Police Station has a new commander at the helm. Lieutenant Colonel Zonele Patrick Qangase was appointed station commander on October 1 after the departure of the promoted Colonel Sarah Mofokeng.
Qangase comes with 31 years of service, having served the communities of Germiston, Elsburg and Johannesburg Central.
He said his primary objective is to fight crime and ensure the people of Duduza are safe and feel safe.
“We will do this by improving relations with the community and working with all the stakeholders with the same goal of fighting crime. To win the fight against crime, we must work together as a community.
“Duduza is no different to any other location in Gauteng, so the principles of crime prevention will apply, but with a specific approach that will be proportional to the crimes affecting the area,” added Qangase.
