House robberies on the rise in Duduza

The police are on high alert after an increase in house burglaries.

Duduza – The Duduza police are concerned about the increase in serious and violent crimes in the area.

The concern comes after a series of house burglary cases were reported.

Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka said police are on high alert and working hard to end the pattern of robbers targeting people in their homes.

“While police are working around the clock to trace and arrest the criminals, they also urge community members to be extra vigilant and take precautions when in their homes.

“This includes observing and reporting any suspicious motions by unknown people in their areas.

“It is important to strengthen their security by locking doors and gates, especially when there are gatherings at their homes,” he added.

Manaka urges residents to report criminal activities and people selling suspected stolen goods.
