Kwa-Thema – The Ward 74 committee presented a year dedication prayer at the Ambassador Faith Church in Kwa-Thema on Friday.
The day was to pray for schools, the government, drugs and substance abuse, GBVF, elections, the police station and the body of Christ.
Ward Clr Thulani Simelane gave words of encouragement, urging the community to work as a team in 2024.
He emphasised the point of continuing to pray for the police station. He also requested all pastors to be united when it comes to prayer seeing that elections are around the corner.
FBO leader and ward committee member responsible for churches in the ward, Bonginkosi Zwane, said it is important to start the year in prayer and invite God in our daily lives.
“With prayer, we can be sure that God is always with us,” he said.
