Suspect caught with 4.4kg of dagga in Tsakani following police tip-off

Tsakani – EMPD Eastern Region Task Team officers arrested a man for possession of dagga in Tsakani on July 10.

According to Zweli Dlamini, spokesperson for the City of Ekurhuleni, a tip-off about a man allegedly selling narcotics led officers to Hlahlalubambu Street in Langaville Ext 1.

“On arrival, they found a man in possession of a black refuse bag containing dagga weighing approximately 4.4kg,” said Dlamini.

The suspect was arrested and detained at the Tsakani Police Station. He is expected to appear in the Tsakani Magistrate’s Court soon.
