Michael Zulu Primary learners celebrate Pyjama Day for a good cause

Learners engaged in fun activities such as indigenous games and reading sessions at the school library as part of the event.

Tsakani – Michael Zulu Primary School held a Pyjama Day on August 26 in the spirit of fundraising for the upcoming Grade Seven farewell.

Pyjama Day at school is a fun event where learners, and sometimes teachers, wear pyjamas instead of their usual school clothes to promote school spirit and comfort.

Learners engaged in fun activities such as indigenous games and reading sessions at the school library as part of the event.

“The day provides a chance for students to express their individuality and break from routine in a relaxed environment. The day promoted unity and shared experience, and also encouraged inclusivity and participation from the learners,” said entertainment co-ordinator Bongane Ndaba.

Ndaba urged parents to support the school in raising funds for the farewell, as it not only raises money but also allows learners to engage in fun activities with their peers.

He also thanked the parents for embracing and supporting the initiative.
