Highlanders break losing streak with win

The Highlanders bounced back with a much-needed win, lifting spirits ahead of their clash against Amadamara on Sunday.

Kwa-Thema – Highland destroyed Sporo 6-1 in the Tsamaya Masters Social Football League at the Ntokozweni Ground on Sunday. The Highlanders began the game, motivated by revenge after a dry season.

“We were pleasantly surprised by the win. It got us out of this funk. We were either losing or playing draws,” said Lucky Skhosana of the team.

He said he hoped the win would keep the players hyped. The team will meet Amadamara at the Tlakula Ground at 10:00 on Sunday.
