Kwa-Thema Fellowship turns recycled bottle tops into a life-changing gift

The Kwa-Thema Central Methodist Women’s Fellowship transforms plastic waste into hope by collecting bottle tops to exchange for a wheelchair, which will be donated to a needy home.

Kwa-Thema – Central Methodist Women’s Fellowship’s ongoing outreach efforts have led to a meaningful initiative inspired by the love and compassion of Christ.

They have been collecting plastic bottle tops as part of a programme that recycles plastic bottle tops to provide wheelchairs.

“We will transport the bottle tops we have collected to Germiston, where they will be exchanged for a wheelchair.

“This wheelchair will then be donated to a needy home, further extending the hand of care and support to those in need within our community,” explained fellowship member Poppy Makaula.

“We give all glory to God for enabling us to be His hands and feet, and we thank every individual and group who contributed.

“Thank you for donating bottle tops, encouraging the effort, or helping with its logistics. Your support made this possible.”
