Community mourns Thutong Daycare founder Rosina Sechabela

The Kwa-Thema community said goodbye to a beloved early childhood pioneer who cared for generations of children through her Thutong Daycare Centre.

Kwa-Thema – Rosina Jacobeth Sechabela, born on July 28, 1948, died on October 12. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and dedication as the founder of Thutong Daycare Centre and Pre-School, established in 1993.

She was a beloved and respected community figure, known for her commitment to providing quality care and education for children through the centre.

With a heart full of love for children and a spirit of innovation, she created a nurturing haven for young minds to grow and thrive.

She was also part of the Kwa-Thema Association for Crèches in the early 1990s and the treasurer for the Victory Fellowship Outreach Church’s Springs branch.

The funeral service will be at the Kwa-Thema Skills School (Sam Ngema) at 07:00, and the cortege will proceed to the gravesite at 09:30.
