L-Sauce: Kwa-Thema’s rising amapiano voice set to drop new single ‘Danko’

Kwa-Thema’s very own L-Sauce is carving his place in the Amapiano scene with his distinctive chorus-led sound and growing list of notable collaborations.

Kwa-Thema – Thembelihle Mnguni (20), known as L-Sauce, is a versatile and dynamic local Amapiano artist who is set to drop new music soon.

“My love for rhythm, storytelling and sonic experimentation began here in Kwa-Thema, in Last Town,” he said.

The musician, songwriter and rising star has quickly become one of the most refreshing voices in South Africa’s evolving Amapiano wave.

Known for his distinctive leading-chorus style, L-Sauce blends soulful melodies, vibrant local influences and an energetic presence that gives each track an infectious and unforgettable feel.

His sound is built on authenticity – a reflection of township vibrancy, youthful ambition and a deep passion for creativity.

“Since stepping into the music scene, I have continued to make bold strides, collaborating with notable and respected artists including Chley, Ntandoyamahlubi, Tee Jay, Khobzin Kiavalla, DJ Stressor, Royal MusiQ, and Mellow and Sleazy.
