SAPS make their presence known in Tsakani community
New recruits join Tsakani Police Station.
Tsakani – Tsakani SAPS will have more boots on the ground around shopping malls and the streets of Tsakani to ensure the community feels safe.
On Monday, Tsakani SAPS management welcomed 18 new police officers: six females and 12 males.
The new officers finished their training and graduated from different police colleges in Tshwane, Atteridgeville Police Academy and Kimberly on December 13.
The officers were urged to refrain from imitating the wrong habits such as corruption and ill-treating community members. They were encouraged to serve the community with dignity and integrity at all times.

Tsakani SAPS Vispol Commander Lieutenant Colonel Petrus Mabuza said, “You all need to respect yourselves and your work then you will respect the community that you are serving.”
Mabuza said he is looking forward to working with the new police officers.
“The management of Tskani is expecting everyone to work as they are supposed to. Everyone must play their part to serve the community and work with disciplined members to deliver what is expected from the police.”
Station commander Colonel Khumbulani Mbatha said, “No one is above the law and they shouldn’t think that they will get away with any criminal acts.”
