Duduza – The EMPD arrested 10 men aged between 20 and 45 for various crimes during an operation in Duduza and Benoni on May 22.
According to the EMPD, officers were conducting routine checks on Mtetwa Street when they stopped three men walking along the road.
“They were uncooperative during questioning. A search revealed packets of crystal meth in each suspect’s possession, 10 ziplock bags, with an estimated street value of R2 000,” the EMPD said.

The EMPD later arrested a fourth suspect for common assault and domestic violence following information received about his whereabouts.
“Later that day, officers arrested six men in the Benoni area for failing to produce identification. All six were detained at the Putfontein Police Station for contravening the Immigration Act,” the EMPD said.
