Tsakani’s Lindi Masinga shines as Mrs Curve South Africa 2026 finalist
At 59, Tsakani businesswoman and tourist guide Lindi Masinga is using the Mrs Curve South Africa 2026 platform to inspire women to rediscover their confidence, embrace healing and pursue their dreams.
Tsakani – Lindi Masinga (59) has been announced as a finalist in the Mrs Curve South Africa 2026 pageant.
The pageant is about far more than competing for a crown; it is a journey of healing, resilience and proving that it is never too late to start again.
Masinga is a qualified tourist guide and owner of Mpumelelo Travel and Tours.
She explained that the competition has become a platform to rebuild her confidence after overcoming emotional, financial and personal challenges.
“As a finalist, I represent healing, courage and hope. This journey reminds me that no matter what life throws at you, it is always possible to rise again,” she said.
She is a proud mother of three and grandmother of three.
Masinga said entering the pageant was one of the biggest decisions she had ever made after years of struggling with self-doubt and depression.
“There was a time when I no longer recognised the woman staring back at me in the mirror.
“Through this journey, I discovered my strength and realised I no longer need permission to dream, speak or take up space,” she explained.
Masinga said participating in pageants has helped her develop confidence through personal development, public speaking, branding and mentorship.
“Confidence is not something you are born with. It is built through courage, consistency and believing in yourself every day,” Masinga added.

Masinga believes her career as a tourist guide has also prepared her for the competition by teaching her empathy, patience and communication.
“Every day I interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Those experiences have helped me connect with others genuinely and with compassion,” she cited.
Although balancing her business, family life and pageant commitments has not been easy, she remains committed to achieving her goals.
She admitted that preparing for the competition comes with significant financial demands, including entry fees, gowns, travel, hair, make-up and training costs, but refuses to let these challenges stand in her way.
Looking ahead, Masinga hopes to use the platform to empower women and young people through mentorship, confidence-building programmes and community development initiatives.
“My message to every woman is simple: you are stronger than you think. Your circumstances do not define your future, and it is never too late to become the woman you were created to be,” she advised.
