Should South Africans residing in Wuhan be deployed back in the country?

Covid 19: Should South Africans in Wuhan be allowed back in the country?

Namhla Manji: “I think the department of health should send health officials to assist them from Wuhan then having them coming into the country because I doubt we are that prepared to deal with this virus.”
Patience Moyo: “We perhaps need to have a little faith in our health department and officials and trust that they will handle this matter with the utmost care to ensure that everyone is safe.”
Elias Sibeko: “For me it is better that they come back home, the health department will assign doctors to help them and being at home just makes everything to be better.”
Lucky Ramokhoase: “I do not think so, because should we have an outbreak, chances are we wont be able to maintain it and a lot of people can die.”
Simphiwe Ndaba: “Are really willing to take that chance? this virus is deadly and having 150 people from Wuhan coming into South Africa that’s definitely not wise, rather we assist them from Wuhan.”
Sibonelo Shongwe: “I think we do not have much of a choice, and since they are South Africans, which means they are our brothers and sisters, we can’t just leave them there to die, so hopefully the department has a solid plan on how they will execute this.”
Fana Mda: “They should stay there until they find a solution to this virus. At this moment this outbreak is very critical and we shouldn’t be taking any risks.”
