Twenty-six senior teams, four masters, four u-15, four u-17 and two women’s teams from Wattville, Thokoza, Vosloorus and Spruit showed off their skills on the pitch.
The team from Langaville Extension Eight locked horns with Super 10 from Spruit and played to a 0-0 draw.
The home team won 4-3 in penalties.
The event was made possible by local businessman Dumisani Mazibuko as a bid to give back to the community of Tsakani.

Tournament organiser Thuso Mtsweni said TMS Events Management decided four years ago to help shape the minds and characters of the youth of Tsakani.
“We decided to use soccer as a tool to mobilise and transform their energy in a bid to mould them to become role models.
“Our mission is to provide the youth in the area the opportunity to play soccer regardless of their skill level,” he explained.

Thuso added they structured a development-focused youth programme that is implemented to improve their soccer skills while learning the important values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play.
TMS Events Management’s goal is not only to advance the youth’s athletic skills but to also grow their overall development.
“We want to build lifelong skills that include strategic thinking, discipline, logic, goal setting and leadership.
“Research indicates that youth who develop these skills early on in life thrive in school, at home and lead a more successful life,” he added.
