Tsakani – U15 netball teams Court Queens and Kwa-Thema Netball Team (KNT) recently went head-to-head at the Sub Region-E League Finals games at Tsakani Stadium.

The tough final game ensured that players demonstrated good communication skills. Court Queens won 14-9. KNT coach Lebohang Bangani described the game as very productive.

“We managed to sit on top of the log unbeaten until the semi-finals and finals.

“The finals were not that difficult, during the first quarter we managed to score many goals. We played well,” said Bangani.

Bangani cited that the two final qualifiers were equal with strength, saying the Court Queens came prepared.

She further added that they could not stick to the plan they had put in place.

“They worked hard to win more than 10 turnovers, but we failed to make use of those opportunities,” she explained.

The team came out second in the finals.

Bangani expressed disappointment, citing that they were aiming for a win without having to defend their position.

“We our going back to the drawing board and we will do much better in the next season of 2027,” said Bangani.

“Development is not about winning trophies.

“It is about developing character, discipline, teamwork, and heart. And everyone played their heart out.”

The Court Queens coach could not be reached for comment.
