Creative Academy goes wild

Creative Academy received a wonderful gift when they were treated to a reptile show.

IT was all about scaly characters and slithering snakes at Creative Academy when the little ones were treated to a reptile show.

And to accommodate those who want to stay clear from the reptiles, a fluffy bunny also turned up as a surprise.

On Friday, June 3, “Wild Ones Animal Shows” visited the children of Creative Academy for a reptile show.

The children had an educational talk that covered the concepts of camouflage, nocturnal animals and creatures, mammals having warm blood and reptiles having cold blood, snakes and spiders shedding their skin, omnivores, carnivores and herbivores, hibernation and so on.

The kids got to interact with the creatures, holding and touching them and for the more dangerous ones, just observing.

“Our daring staff members also had fun interacting with the snakes. Nothing like holding a boa constrictor to overcome your fears. The children got to see a Blonde Brazilian spider and other tarantulas, geckos, stick insects, a hedgehog, bunny, scorpion, chameleon, a crab, a large snail, a hissing cockroach and a bearded dragon”, said Jenna Axsel, Creative Academy principal, excitedly.
