ER24 rescue dog

She was stuck there for three days.

A DOG was rescued this afternoon from beneath a prefabricated classroom at a school in Edenpark, South of Johannesburg.

Members of the public alerted ER24 to the incident after they had found the dog lying underneath the classroom.

When ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene, they found the dog cowering deep beneath one of the classrooms.

Paramedics were informed that the animal had been beneath the building for at least three days.

One of the ER24 paramedics was able to crawl beneath the building and slowly coax the animal out.

Once the dog was brought to safety, paramedics assessed and treated her before she was handed over to Kibler Park Vet for further treatment.
