ST Declan’s School for Boys held a Shavathon on August 31 as a fund-raiser that celebrated its Grade One learner, Seth Kruger, who triumphed over cancer.
Learners and their families had their hair sprayed in bright colours. There were also a lot of fun activities to keep everyone busy.
A dance competition was a big hit, with some of the boys making amazing moves to Bad Girl and other hit songs. For those who were less inclined to let their hair down, decorating cupcakes, outdoor chess and fun slides were on offer.
The school raised over R20 000 in the fight against cancer and would like to thank all those who went above and beyond to ensure the day was a great success.
