The good guys at Diesel Bro’s

A kind gesture saves big on hospice's grocery bill.

Diesel Bro’s, a diesel wholesale company situated in Aspen Hills, recently paid Stepping Stone Hospice and Care Services a visit, delivering a bakkie-load of items from the hospice’s wish list.

“Thank you to Joe Dias and the rest of his amazing team for this wonderful donation. A big saving on our monthly in-patient grocery bill,” said Tersia Burger, CEO at Stepping Stone Hospice.

“This hospice is the only non-profit, community-based organisation in greater Alberton, Bassonia, Glenvista, Kathehong, Thokoza and Vosloorus, where the sole mission is to offer comprehensive palliative care services, with an in-home programme as well as an in-patient facility,” Tersia said.

Stepping Stone Hospice is largely reliant on the generosity of the community and their own fund-raising efforts in order to keep their doors open.
