Revival City College ran three workshops for parents and any other interested community members at the school on February 29.
The workshops covered burning topics which included study skills for children, teaching reading in the foundation phase and understanding the new mathematics approach for parents.
Karen van den Oever, the school’s operational director, said they received positive feedback from each of the presentations they offered on the day.
“Parents have requested the college to consider making compact discs of the different mathematics concepts and how these are approached in the class. This will be taken up by the colleges’ social media and design teams,” she said.
