Brackenhurst Primary learners join Johannesburg Mini Council

Brackenhurst Primary School has been represented by two of its Grade Seven learners to represent the school at the Johannesburg Mini Council for 2020.

Brackenhurst Primary School proudly announced that two of its Grade Seven learners are representing the school at the Johannesburg Mini Council for 2020.

The school initially joined the Johannesburg Mini Council in 2019.

This year the school selected two of its new councillors, Thandolwethu Jordan and Nomahlubi Radebe.

The Johannesburg Mini Council is made up of 44 schools.

Learners are then placed into one of five committees such as welfare, smile, leadership, special projects and eco.

Each committee has a role to play in organising, planning, hosting various charities and events under the supervision of adult volunteers.

Thandolwethu Jordan was selected to be the chairperson of the welfare committee, while Nomahlubi Radebe serves as a councillor.
