A Black Mazda 3 was spotted traveling at a high speed and jumping through several red robots. CPS Security Tactical Team gave chase and the vehicle was stopped on Swartkoppies Road.

The occupants fled on foot abandoning the vehicle in the middle of the road. Fox Tactical members backed up other security members searching for the suspects. One suspect was apprehended by the vehicle and a second suspect was arrested by Fox Security Tactical Team in Jackson Street shortly thereafter.

It was later established that the suspects had robbed a local cellphone shop and were fleeing from the crime scene.

The suspects were taken to Alberton SAPS and the stolen goods were recovered.
