One suspect has been shot and killed and one arrested following an alleged armed robbery this afternoon, August 6 on Hennie Alberts Street in Brackenhurst.

According to Tyrone van der Merwe, the sales director from CPS Security, suspects had committed an armed robbery and were spotted by two members of the public who decided to intervene.

Elowayne Gouws, Fox Security’s operations manager said Fox Security made the arrest.

All the necessary authorities are on the scene. The public is urged to avoid the area.
