A woman in her 30s was left critically injured in a home invasion on Eeufees Road in Walkerville on August 26.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find local authorities and security members already in attendance.
Medics were lead into the home, where they found the patient.
On assessment, it was found that a woman had sustained gunshot wounds to her leg, back, and abdomen, leaving her in a critical condition.
The woman was treated for her injuries and provided with several advanced life support interventions before she was transported to a provincial hospital for further care.
