Glass banks encourage recycling
By recycling all your glass bottles and jars you can help to save the earth and prevent pollution.
The Glass Recycling Company (TGRC) believes in the infinite potential of glass recycling to make a real and positive contribution to society and has placed thousands of these glass banks countrywide where community members can recycle.
They have allocated glass banks across Alberton to make recycling glass more convenient.
This is their way of encouraging the rest of the country to look after the environment and prevent glass bottles from entering landfills.
By recycling all your glass bottles and jars you can help to save the earth and prevent pollution.
If you recycle just one glass bottle per week, it means that for a year you recycle 52 glass containers. This will save 5 200 watts of energy.
