A green Mercedes Benz was hijacked in Boksburg North earlier this morning.

The vehicle was then left parked at Meyersdal Mall where a male suspect took the vehicle.

The vehicle was pulled over on the R59 Swartkoppies bridge and the suspect was arrested.

Police are on the scene and currently investigating the matter further.
