Among many other suspects arrested, one suspect had been brought in for rape.
Capt Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS assured the community that SAPS members are working tirelessly to protect and serve the community.
“Our experienced SAPS members will soon be attending their cases to deny them bail. If suspects continue to run in our streets, the community will not feel safe. Together with community members, we can win this battle,” he said.
He also appealed to the community to come forward with any information reporting any criminal activity.
