Fraud suspect arrested in Florentia

The suspect was found in possession of car break-in implements and false plates.

CPS Security officers and Tracker members apprehended a suspect for possession of car breaking implements and fraud in Florentia on February 25.

This follows a verification signal which was received for a vehicle entering a high-risk area. The vehicle was located at a shopping centre and the suspect was arrested on Pieter Uys Street.

Upon searching the vehicle, various car break-in implements were discovered as well as false number plates. The suspect was arrested and taken to Alberton Police Station.
