Teamwork leads to arrests

Two suspects ran away from police officers on the railway line.

Three zama zamas were arrested on April 13 in the Germiston area.
Teamwork between CPS Security, Germiston SAPS, Alberton SAPS and Primrose SAPS led to the arrest of the suspects.
“Information about suspects shooting at Germiston SAPS members were received and our tactical team was sent to assist.
“On our arrival, two suspects were running away from police officers on the railway line,” said Tyrone van der Merwe, sales operations.
The suspects were chased on foot and were successfully apprehended by CPS. A third suspect was arrested by one of the Germiston SAPS members.
“Great teamwork from Alberton SAPS, Germiston SAPS and Primrose SAPS,” said van der Merwe.
