“Upon arrival, it was discovered the suspects had already fled, but a search for the suspects’ vehicle was done using CCTV. It was also established that the suspects stole the alarm beam off the wall when they accessed the property,” operations manager Elowayne Gouws explained.
“During a routine patrol on that same evening, reaction officers noticed the same vehicle scouting in Rae Frankel Street with four occupants inside. The vehicle was stopped with the help of Brackendowns SAPS and searched,” said Gouws.
The stolen beam, drugs and other weapons were found inside the vehicle.
All four suspects were taken to Brackendowns SAPS.
