Valentine’s Day murder suspect gets 15 years in jail

Sgt Mulalo Ramashia obtained a guilty sentence.

A Turffontein murder suspect received 15 years for murder.

On February 14 last year at about 03:05 members of Booysens Community Service Centre received a complaint of domestic violence in Turffontein.

They rushed to the scene. On arrival, they entered the room and saw that the room was a total mess. When they moved around the bed, they noticed an unknown woman laying on the ground.

They then contacted the ambulance service who arrived on the scene and declared the woman deceased.

Booysens SAPS communications officer Capt Lorraine van Emmerik said, “The docket was given to Sgt Mulalo Ramashia to investigate and a suspect was arrested. After the justice system was completed and the trial finalised the suspect was found guilty.”
