WATCH: Albertonians make their mark
The IEC says voting stations will be open until 21:00 and all registered voters are encouraged to cast their vote at the station they are registered at.
Albertonians are out in force to cast their votes and make their voices heard this morning, November 1.
A couple of voting stations in the Alberton area experienced minor delays, but those appear to have been short-lived, and the process is now running smoothly.

According to on sight IEC officials, the opening of the voting station at Alberton Fire station was delayed due to problems with the ballot boxes.
Residents say the station started operating at around 7:30. Everything is now progressing as normal.

People have to social distance in the already long queues, sanitise and wear a mask at all times.
